Journey over pastoral back roads through the albums of Along Country Roads rural photography. Back to a simpler time where green meadows beckon, and one might read a "feel good" novel under a cool hemlock, the state tree of Pennsylvania.
You’re invited to share our experience with America’s countryside, its forgotten corners and its recent past. Americana as celebrated over the decades is still there, and the Canon, Contax, and Mamiya cameras of Along Country Roads Photography attempt to capture the enduring serenity of rural times and places.
Samples of what you’ll find are offered on the pages that follow. Please note:

Finally, four chapters of Summers Run: An American Boyhood, are presented for your review. Rural Pennsylvania is the setting for my feel-good, pleasant read set in the early 1990s. It is a story of Little League Baseball, recovery, and discovery woven by “dear hearts and gentle people.” Read reviews on afeelgoodnovel.blogspot.com
